Having graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Allenta completed numerous placements in various settings such as tertiary hospitals in fields including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, women’s health (including pre- and post-natal care), community-based musculoskeletal as well as neurological rehabilitation focusing on hyper-acute stroke units.
With a focus on client-based goals, Allenta strives to learn more about her clients to facilitate them on their journey in the best way that she can. She believes that clients know their bodies best and endeavours to walk with them through their time with her. Her focus is on ensuring clients feel safe and respected, and making sure their voices are heard. She strives to provide a culturally sensitive experience, given her own diverse background.
Allenta enjoys working with clients of all ages and has a particular interest in chronic pain. She is passionate about implementing current evidence-based approaches to interventions to ensure her clients are given the best possible care she can provide. She is also passionate about collaborating with other members of the team in a multi-disciplinary approach (available here at GO2 Health) to provide a holistic experience for her clients.
