Georgia has always had a growing conviction to work in an environment where she was able to selflessly give back to others or make a difference in someone's life regardless of how tough they were doing it or how difficult the task may be.
She began her nursing degree with Griffith University upon completion of Grade 12 and never looked back. Whilst studying she was employed as an Assistant in Nursing with over 3 years' experience in a range of clinical areas such as disability support, community nursing and aged care/residential nursing. Upon competition of her Bachelor of Nursing in November 2019, she commenced work as a practice nurse in a busy fast-paced clinic on Brisbane's Southside. Nursing within a General Practice environment remains my passion.
Amidst completing her studies, Georgia took a 6-month break to gain the invaluable life experience of completing Basic Training with the Army in Wagga Wagga. This experience not only finely honed her self-discipline and emotional stability but provided great insight into the daily routine of an ADF member. Basic training contributed to the way she now practices as a Registered Nurse and has instilled the quality of self-awareness to ensure that she can be the culturally competent and diverse practitioner.
Georgia looks forward to being a part of the team at GO2 Health and is excited to continue learning and contributing to the existing team.
