Professional Background
Katrina completed her Nursing studies in 2017 after being a stay-at-home mother to her 2 children. It was her experience in health care that she received whilst having her children that inspired her to become a Nurse, to change the approach that health care had towards their patients regardless of where they came from in life. She has a strong passion to change how people view their health care, to make it less daunting for those that find health care unapproachable. Katrina has a strong passion for children's health, mental health, and veterans' health. She believes that one interaction can change a person's entire outlook on the health care system. Katrina has spent most of her nursing career in General Practice, having ventured out to a few other areas of nursing, General Practice is where she found her home.
