Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Katt Matthews is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist having gained her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours from The University of Queensland in 2015.
Katt has a passion for working alongside children, young people and families to support their engagement in daily activities. She values creative, innovative and evidence-informed therapy that will help develop children's skills, confidence and independence. Katt is experienced in working with young people between the ages of 2 - 18, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Intellectual Impairment, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Learning Difficulties. Katt works with families to develop individualised treatment plans to create child and family-centred goals to improve skills in areas including attention, behaviour, motor skills, sensory processing, executive functioning, self care skills, social skills and play skills.
