Madi is a practicing sport scientist and accredited exercise physiologist who has a strong background linking psychological conditions, injury rehabilitation and health management. She has extensive experience working in occupational rehabilitation and clinical environments both with defence and civilians.
Over the past 8 years in practice she has overseen the development and progression of many individuals with mental health issues and those rehabilitating from injuries and chronic health conditions. She has also held coaching positions across a number of elite sports for juniors and has owned and operated a personal training business targeted at children and adolescents with physical and mental disabilities. Madi's key areas of interest are enhancing the quality of life of individuals with mental health concerns via participation in exercise. Madi is also passionate about injury rehabilitation and longevity in the areas important to those she treats, whether it be elite sport, work or simply life.
As an athlete, Madi grew up playing representative netball and competing nationally in athletics and internationally in mountain running. Following a significant injury and years of dealing with personal mental health conditions, she changed her sporting focus to using exercise as a way to assist the management of mental health conditions and enhance the lives of those she treats
