Andy graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours). During his time in university, Andy had the opportunity to work as a sports trainer with various NPL-level soccer clubs around Brisbane and across a range of other sports including basketball and track and field. He also holds extensive experience as a tennis coach within his local community and at the University of Queensland. Additionally, Andy has had placement experience in the areas of orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurological, and rural-based physiotherapy.
Being a strong proponent of patient-centred care, Andy aims to provide an individually tailored approach to all his patients. He is passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy and utilises evidence-based practice and manual therapy together with therapeutic exercise to provide optimal outcomes for his patients. Andy finds getting patients back to their everyday activities and achieving their goals extremely fulfilling and will often draw on the larger multidisciplinary team at GO2 Health in order do so.
