Kate is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) who graduated in 2023 from the University of Queensland. Kate is passionate about supporting, educating, and empowering all clients to reach their optimal health and improve their quality of life.
Kate believes exercise is a form of medicine that can improve the livelihood of everyone in a way pharmaceuticals are unable to. There is no one way to move your body, with everyone requiring a personalised exercise regime to fit their lifestyle. Kate believes in adopting a holistic approach to health, where a healthy lifestyle requires a combination of balanced nutrition, exercise, sleep and other healthy habits. Kate’s aim as an EP is to work alongside all health practitioners at GO2Health to provide upmost care for all clients, enabling them to become their own healthiest and happiest version of themselves through an array of healthcare services that GO2health provides. Kate intends to achieve this by providing high-quality, personal exercise programs tailored to the individual, their condition, and goals in a way that is supportive, caring, educational and empowering. Educating clients about their bodies and how exercise benefits their journey towards their version of optimal health is paramount.
In her free time, Kate loves mixing up the exercise she performs whether that is functional group training, rock climbing, running, reformer pilates or walking her Cocker Spaniel. Her experience as a pilates instructor and group fitness trainer has enabled her to work with a range of healthy and chronic populations where she has loved creating exercise programs and pilates flows that are exciting and innovative yet safe, effective and relevant for the client’s condition. Building strong rapport with clients and hearing about their own health journeys has inspired Kate’s love for EP. Whether it’s through her travels to Europe and Asia, her university and work experience, or in everyday life, Kate adores meeting new people and making people’s days that 1% better.
