Dr Zach is a South Australian native who graduated from University of Adelaide in 2018. From the outset of medical school he had a strong interest in rural General Practice, initially training in rural and remote medicine through RACGP. He moved to Queensland in 2021 to be with his partner, and completed the remainder of his Fellowship in General Practice in Toowoomba. His areas of interest are mental health across the lifespan, women's health, palliative care, and chronic medical conditions.
Zach's patients will report that they feel he truly listens to them, and advocates for them at every stage of their journey. He tries to prioritise education into the management of any medical condition - 'doctor' originates from Latin 'teacher', after all. Zach believes that patients and doctors can work together as equals and share responsibility in all decisions about health problems. He is excited to join the GO2 Health team and work with a wide array of experienced professionals to tackle any problem, no matter how challenging.
When not at work, Zach enjoys writing music, camping, cycling, and spending time with his partner and their energetic pomsky. And feel free to test him on his film knowledge!
